Arusha to Katavi National Park in Tanzania. You will be picked up from their hotel in Arusha/ Dar es salaam and taken to the airport for a flight to Katavi Airstrip, which operates on Monday and Thursday. Upon arrival, met by a driver/guide and driven to their accommodation. Katavi National Park is known for its abundant wildlife, including large herds of buffalos, elephants, lions, leopards, crocodiles, and hippos. Activities in the park include game drives, birdwatching, and walking safaris.

You will have breakfast and then depart from the park on a game drive transfer to Katavi Airstrip for a scheduled flight to Mahale Airstrip, which operates on Monday and Thursday. Upon arrival, you will be met by Baraka Trails guide and served lunch at the camp. You will then proceed to go chimpanzee tracking in the forest. The next two days are reserved for chimpanzee trekking, and you will also visit waterfalls, go birdwatching, swim in Lake Tanganyika, and enjoy a bonfire on the beach.

In the morning you will have breakfast, followed by transfer to Mahale airstrip for departure by shared charter flight back to Arusha or Dar es salaam. Our representative will meet you here for assistance to connect onward for an international flight or drive to your hotel.
