After breakfast, you will drive to Tarangire National Park. Ranking as the 6th largest National Park in Tanzania and covering an area of 2,600 square kilometers, The Tarangire National Park is most popular for its large elephant herds and mini-wildlife migration that takes place during the dry season which sees about 250,000 animals enter the park.

DAY 2: NGORONGORO CRATER

After early breakfast, we will descend over 600 meters into the crater to view wildlife for a full day’s safari tour. The Ngorongoro Conservation Area spans vast expanses of highland plains, savanna, savanna woodlands, and forests. Established in 1959 as a multiple land use area, with wildlife coexisting with semi-nomadic Maasai pastoralists practicing traditional livestock grazing, it includes the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest caldera. The property has global importance for biodiversity conservation due to the presence of globally threatened species, the density of wildlife inhabiting the area, and the annual migration of wildebeest, zebra, gazelles, and other animals into the northern plains. Extensive archaeological research has also yielded a long sequence of evidence of human evolution and human-environment dynamics, including early hominid footprints dating back 3.6 million years. Our adventures will take us to Serengeti where we will stay for 3 nights before we come back to Ngorongoro again to dance with maasai at their own boma (home) then sign out heading back to Arusha

DAY 3 & 4: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

Chances are that you have dreamt of Africa, and when you did, you probably dreamt about the Serengeti. Countless wildlife movies have been recorded in the Serengeti, and with good reason: this is the home of the Great Migration and may very well be one of the last true natural wonders on planet earth.
Serengeti National Park is a World Heritage Site teeming with wildlife: over 2 million ungulates, 4000 lions, 1000 leopards, 550 cheetahs, and some 500 bird species inhabit an area close to 15,000 square kilometers in size.

Be one of only a few fortunate people to glide in a Hot Air Balloon over the Serengeti Plains (available at supplementary cost by pre-arrangement . Floating silently above the awakening bush, while spotting wildlife and enjoying the amazing scenery of Africa, across rivers and over numerous small villages.
The entire day is dedicated to game viewing in the Serengeti National Park. The areas that you visit will depend upon where the migrating herds are. Predators usually follow closely behind the trekking animals and include lions, leopards (in the acacia trees), and cheetahs.

DAY 5: NGORONGORO (MAASAI BOMA) - ARUSHA

Early morning after breakfast, our drive back to Arusha will take us to maasai boma through a game drive from Serengeti passing Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
Maasai boma visit: Pay a visit to one of the famous Maasai bomas, where you’ll have the opportunity to witness (and participate in) traditional Maasai dance, tour an authentic Maasai village, and even do a little souvenir shopping at the local market. After our dance and shopping, we are going to the Ngorongoro gate sign out, and head back to Arusha. End of safari

DAY 6: LOCAL VISIT AND CULTURAL TOURS - Arusha city tour

This tour will take you inside the workings of the busy little town of Arusha. You have the opportunity to visit a school, church, or local market and have a drink in a local pub. This will be one of the most interesting experiences during your Tanzanian holiday with professional guides during the trip.

After the long day of visit, we will go back to the hotel for hot shower then get coffee or beer. That is how we end our Tanzania trip

DAY 7/ 1 IN UGANDA: FLIGHT TO UGANDA

When it is time for your airport transfer our driver collects you at reception and drives you to the Airport, where you will take the flight to Uganda (Entebbe International Airport) for gorilla trip.

Brief

This safari takes you to the Western part of Uganda famous for its cool weather, tranquil environment as well as its friendly, calm and soft-spoken people.

As for the Gorilla Trekking, please remember that it will take you through the forest to encounter the Gentle Giants of this Jungle; the Mountain Gorillas as they bustle, nimble and waddle in search for fleshy shoot and fruits that make up their daily meal.

DAY 7/ 1 IN UGANDA: PICK UP FROM THE ENTEBBE AIRPORT (UGANDA)

Upon arrival at Entebbe international Airport, our professional driver guide will receive you and take you to your hotel. You will use the rest of time of the day to relax and prepare for your safari.

DAY 8/ 2 IN UGANDA: TRANSFER TO KIBALE FOREST NATIONAL PARK; NATURE/COMMUNITY EXPERIENCE

After an early breakfast, you will transfer to Kanyanchu Visitor Information Centre at 8am for briefing by the park rangers and then set off for the chimpanzee trekking experience.

Kibale Forest boasts of high counts of habituated chimpanzees with over 95% chances of encountering them. The chimpanzee trekking exposes you to impressive forested landscapes with undulating terrain that presents a rewarding hike. The hour of direct encounter with chimpanzees, seeing them as they patrol, munch leaves or fruits, socialize, young ones playing and make pant hooting calls creates remarkable memories.

After an early breakfast, you will transfer to Kanyanchu Visitor Information Centre at 8am for briefing by the park rangers and then set off for the chimpanzee trekking experience.

During the trekking, you may spot primates like black and white colobus monkeys.

DAY 10/ 4 IN UGANDA: TRANSFER TO BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK

After an early breakfast, you will embark on your transfer to the South Western part of Uganda to the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Your journey goes through Queen Elizabeth National Park, one of Uganda’s Premier destinations. The journey will be complimented by fascinating view of the landscapes of the fabled ‘Mountains of the Moon’, the Rwenzori Mountains.

DAY 11/ 4 IN UGANDA: GORILLA TREKKING

Wake up very early to prepare for the supposed most significant highlight of your safari, the remarkable meet with the Gentle Giants! After breakfast, we take drive to the park offices where you will be briefed about the dos and don’ts of the jungle and then you will be off for a forever-memorable adventure of your life.

Trekking through the steep, densely forested hills of the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest and then finally coming across the gorillas cloaked in the foliage is an amazing experience, and indescribable because of the difficulty to paint a verbal picture of the vegetation, terrain, smells, colors and the animated entertainment from the gorillas and other residents of the jungle.

DAY 12/ 5 IN UGANDA: TRANSFER TO ENTEBBE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT VIA THE EQUATOR.

Do not leave these items behind; sunscreen, insect repellent, your passport, camera, hiking boots, long safari pants and long sleeved shirts or T-shirt plus a light rain jacket. Please avoid very bright and hot coloured clothes- These not only attract insects to you but also can be offensive to the residents of the jungle. These items will come in handy as you go through the thick forest and encounter the unpredictable weather of Bwindi: Expect rain or sunshine anytime.
